Workshop - Practical Ways to Tell Your Story to Funders
We all know Year of Music 2023 is going to be fantastic and a lot of this will be down to the immense collaborative efforts of community groups, charities, social enterprise, bands, orchestras, schools - all those people and groups that give Kirklees such a diverse and varied musical culture.
But staging a series of events, running workshops, creating music, organising festivals (the list goes on) takes more than time, knowledge and love. It takes money which will mean making funding applications, so we are running a series workshops to help guide you in the funding application process. If you have ambitions to contribute towards Year of Music 2023 and would welcome some support, guidance, space to reflect and network these workshops are for you. The sessions are aimed at not-for-profit groups and organisations.
Sessions will be facilitated by Lisa Jagger of Straight Forward Funding.
Wednesday Sessions run in the afternoon 3.30 pm – 4.45pm
(an alternative date for this workshop is Tuesday 3 August, 6.30pm – 7.45pm https://www.creativekirklees.com/musik/practical-ways-to-tell-your-story-to-funders-workshop)
This workshop will show you practical ways to tell your story so that funders really listen.
