Writing for Liars

Writing for Liars

A workshop led by John Hall taking place at Plymouth College of Art from 2pm - 5pm, drawing on material exhibited in 'The Library of Independent Exchange'.

John will set a number of tasks based on selecting, adapting, transforming and 'answering' material found in the exhibition and produced by others in the workshop. The aim will be to make writing through the manipulation of materials rather than through expressing states of mind or narrating incidents.

John Hall is a poet, teacher and essayist, whose poetry is both page-based and visual. He was one of the founders of 'performance writing' at Dartington College of Arts and is now Professor of Performance Writing at University College Falmouth.

Places are limited, there are only 14 available so booking for the workshop is essential. To book phone 01752 203 434 or email infoservices@plymouthart.ac.uk
