Nu Popes and Easy Stride Band coming back to Small Seeds

Two UK funk scene bands Easy Stride Band and Nu Popes unite for a summer show on June the 8th at Small Seeds, Huddersfield. Known for their high-energy performances and fantastic musicianship the bands have roots in the local scene and are known to sell-out venues here in West Yorkshire and provide a party that always gets people moving.

Nu Popes
Huddersfield powerhouse outfit Nu Popes combine funk, blues and soul with pure talent and endless energy to create uncompromising live shows. Featuring some of Huddersfield's finest musicians this rambunctious groove collective boast heavy horns, funky bass, driving Hammond organ, guitar shreddery and soulful vocals.
Band members include Ross Taylor on vocals, Martin Chung on guitar, Steven Beever on keyboards, Clinton McFarlane on bass, Matt Longbottom and Marc Layton-Bennett on drums and percussion, Amanda Spalding on sax and Nick Batty on trumpet.

Easy Stride Band
The inimitable EASY STRIDE BAND - a deft fusion of acoustic soul and reggae, featuring richly layered vocal melodies, big bass, and bigger beats. The band creates uplifting and energetic music that delivers positivity and incites a party.
