Call for submissions for First Spark radio festival (1-5 Feb)

CALL OUT FOR RECORDED SOUND

Soundart Radio's First Spark festival marks the feasts of Imbolc and Candlemas. The first sparks of spring, light, ideas, fire, electricity, and sound are celebrated through performance, artist talks and sound interpretation. Help us explore new ways to engage with old festivals. This year we will be featuring live performances from improvisation ensembles and interviewing them about what they do. We will also be putting together a 24-hour playlist throughout Sunday 5th February and welcome submissions from artists everywhere.

We especially welcome sound works relating to this year's theme of improvisation.

Please submit your sound works for First Spark to Soundart Radio before 1st February at 12 noon, either as analogue or digital material, via email OR by post to Soundart Radio, The Gallery, Dartington Hall Estate, Totnes, Devon, TQ9 6EP.
