Radio Production Club

Radio Production Club

Have you ever wanted to be on the radio? Do you have something important to say, or maybe you are a writer or musician? Get up, get started and get on air. This course is an all
round introduction to making radio programmes. Learn how to use sound recording
equipment, how to edit audio, and produce and present programmes live on community
radio. Throughout the year you will develop your own ideas for radio programmes and gain lots of broadcast experience with support to realise your ideas.

The course is accessible to all kinds of people, you do not need to have previous experience. There will not be a great deal of written work, but lots of practical experience, stimulating discussions, and time to walk in the woods and record natural sounds as well as familiarising yourself with broadcast technology and audio software.

Join us at Dartington on Mondays, 11am-2pm from early October, and gain a Level 2 NCFE Radio Production qualification through Bicton College.
If you are on benefits such as JSA or ESA you will not have to pay any course fees. Contact Bicton College for more information about registration and funding.
