We’re a small, friendly, relaxed group here at Stevenage Singers, who meet for fun, interactive sessions. We enjoy singing both new pieces as well as some classics too. If you’re keen to learn new singing skills (or hone old ones!) and build friendships – we’d love to meet you. We love music, and believe music shouldn’t be scary and there are certainly no auditions.

Rachael, who leads the singing will start us with some warm ups, introduce you to four-part harmonies and find where you feel most comfortable. If you have a favourite piece of music we’d love to know - we always try to sing things our members actively enjoy. We support those who can't read music well with audio files so they can hear their parts and learn them.

We are currently gearing up for our Christmas concert - the event entry will appear on Creative Hertfordshire soon!

Rehearsals are each Monday at 7.45pm at Stevenage Music Centre.

We’re lucky to meet in a fairly big space, so you won’t feel cramped and we pride ourselves on being inclusive – gender, ability, neuro-diversity or anything else. We’re open to anyone who loves or wants to explore singing, so if you have specific access or other needs – please just let us know.

Did you know how good for you singing is? Find out more on our Singing is Good for You page on our website (link is below).

We have access to a large space so can easily be Covid-19 compliant.

We operate on a non-profit basis i.e. we are a registered charity (Registered Charity Number 284221) Stevenage Singers is an operating name. We are supported by the Stevenage Arts Guild (http://www.stevenageartsguild.org.uk/) and are members of MakingMusic (https://www.makingmusic.org.uk/)

We have a great variety of music, from conventional carols to Rudolph the Red nosed reindeer, and we will be joined by singers from Shephalbury Park Primary School. There will be carols you know, some you probably do...
