RSPH Understanding Health Improvement Level 2 award

This is a qualification that the Lifestyles Team at Torbay Care Trust are offering to members of the public, our partner organisations and colleagues who have an interest in promoting health.

This qualification is known as the Royal Society for Public Health: Understanding Health Improvement Level 2 and is delivered over 2 days. The award covers:
1. the importance of promoting health in the workplace and in community settings
2. factors that facilitate/support behaviour improvement
3. principles of behaviour change and how to apply them
4. handling confidential information

6. the support services that are available in Torbay

We are keen to identify people who have an interest in promoting public health amongst their own colleagues and work place, as well as individuals who may wish to become Community Health Trainer Champions acting as volunteers who signpost and hand hold other residents of Torbay to the Lifestyles services from communities of interest.
