Raku Pottery Workshop: 16th-17th July 2016

We're delighted to be working in partnership with Dave Helm, ceramicist from The Craft Workshop in Lindley to offer a raku pottery weekend workshop.

You'll have the opportunity to:

Get involved in constructing a simple raku kiln
Hand build your own pots
Glaze your own or buy pots ready to glaze
Get involved in firing your pots, using techniques which involve fire, smoke, feathers, horsehair, water, and other dramatic processes.

We'll host the course here at Briarcourt, which is a grade II-listed Arts and Crafts Movement building in Lindley. It's our life's work to restore the house and gardens and we're 18 months in - so LOTS of work still to do, but there's also much in the house and gardens to stir the creative juices!

All levels of experience (including none) welcome to book.
