Wizard Presents is recruiting a Part-Time Administrator. We are a theatrical production company producing both large-scale musicals and small to mid scale family shows.

The role is initially for 20 hours a week (times are flexible, to be agreed between both parties). In the future it is possible that this role could become full time (by mutual agreement), and can be worked either from our production office or remotely, subject to negotiation. This is a freelance position.

Wizard Presents is currently in the development stages of a range of new work and is in need of a dynamic, capable person to help facilitate this exciting period.

The successful candidate will work with the Directors to establish organisational goals for the company and to develop short, medium and long term plans to ensure it can meet its artistic ambitions.

The candidate will be supporting the directors with their projects from development through to completion, with tasks including, but not limited to: liaising with creative teams, artists and production staff and working with our theatre partners and freelance associates including marketing and PR consultants. Preparing contracts, booking of rehearsal rooms, travel & accommodation, preparing contact and call sheets, maintaining computer filing and databases, responsibility for all aspects of company meetings.

The role involves both written and oral communication, word processing and typing, creating and maintaining filing and office systems, basic updating of the company website, overseeing and when necessary administrating of all social media sites, dealing with e-mail and phone enquiries.

The chosen candidate will have a passion for theatre, proven experience and success in a similar role, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to see projects through from conception to completion.

The Directors of Wizard Presents are John Miller and Danyah Miller. The company has worked in theatre in various ways since 1997 including production, directing and writing for theatre; storytelling; education; music recording; production and publishing. We are interested in music, theatre and storytelling, on all scales.

Salary: £10 per hour/ £20,800 p.a pro rata
