The Spectacular Showcase of Textile Innovation will shine a spotlight on the incredible scientific and creative innovation taking place in the textile industry today. Scientists, businesses and artists are continually exploring how to make the industry more sustainable and environmentally friendly and this is your opportunity to find out how.
Bring the family along on to this event to see the Future Fashion Show, created by schools across the district. The fashion show will take place from 1pm however there will be a number of activities taking place before that everyone can take part in!
There will also be tours of the textiles departments and free workshops on up-cycling, sewing with conductive thread, contemporary embroidery and a knitting machine game.
