Handmade Marks in Screen Print – Printmaker’s Toolkit Session

Our January Toolkit session is with WYPW studio holder Clare Grace.
In this session, Clare will be talking about and demonstrating how she uses the screen drawing fluid method. This technique involves drawing and painting directly onto a blank silkscreen to create positive marks which can then be printed from. It is an alternative to the widely-used photo-exposure technique and can be used to great effect.

These 1 hour morning session will focus on technique, practise and making, and will comprise of practical demonstration and talk.
The sessions are intended to encourage, inspire, and generate ideas and conversation about printmaking, so don’t be afraid to ask questions!
